Frequently asked questions

I have a medical condition, an injury and/or a disability - is Pilates suitable for me?

Yes - Pilates is suitable for most people, including those with medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities, as long as you have medical clearance. We recommend starting with our Rehabilitation Private Session Pathway, which offers personalised support tailored to your individual needs.

Which class should I attend?

We recommend starting with our Beginner Reformer sessions to build a strong foundation. If you're unsure where to begin, feel free to email us at thepilatesroomcambridge@gmail.com and we're happy to help guide you toward the classes that best suit your needs and goals.

What should I wear to my session?

Wear comfortable, fitted activewear that allows you to move freely. Socks with grip are required for all classes, and long hair should be tied back.

How Do I Find You?

Our studio is quietly nestled down a private driveway in Cambridge East - just look out for our sign at the entrance to guide you in.

We recommend parking on the street and walking down the driveway if you're able. On your right-hand side, you'll see a button to open the electric gate. Once through the gate, turn left and walk down the side of the main reception building. Go through the side gate, and you'll find the first door on your right—that’s us!

Step into our beautiful reception area, kick off your shoes, help yourself to a warm cup of tea (and maybe a little choccy), and relax before your session begins.
